Meet Dr. Victoria Baldwin, ND
We’re excited to welcome Dr. Victoria Baldwin, ND, to the True Health Integrative Clinic team.
Dr. Victoria is a Naturopathic Doctor with a special interest in women’s health, perimenopause, stress, and the mind-body connection. Her approach is particularly focused on supporting women who have spent much of their lives caring for others—the caregivers, healers, empaths, people pleasers, and high achievers who are used to holding everything together.
Until something starts to feel different.
You may be exhausted but unable to sleep. Your patience may be shorter than it used to be. You may notice changes in your energy, mood, digestion, or ability to cope with stress. And perhaps you've found yourself thinking:
“I don't feel like myself anymore.”
You may wonder if your hormones are the problem. But hormones may only be part of the picture.
Looking at the Bigger Picture
Dr. Victoria takes a comprehensive approach to understanding what may be contributing to how you're feeling.
Rather than looking at individual symptoms in isolation, she considers the connections between hormones, stress physiology, blood sugar, sleep, digestion, and nervous system function.
These systems are constantly communicating with one another, and changes in one area can influence how you feel in another.
Her goal is to step back and understand the larger pattern—listening to what your symptoms may be communicating and looking for the connections that can help guide individualized care.
Supporting Women Through Perimenopause and Beyond
Perimenopause can be a time when things that once felt manageable suddenly begin to feel different.
Sleep may change. Stress can feel harder to handle. Energy and mood may shift. Your body may respond differently than it used to, leaving you wondering what is happening and why you no longer feel like yourself.
Dr. Victoria recognizes that these changes are rarely about one thing.
Her approach considers the broader physiological picture while helping women better understand what is happening in their bodies. The goal isn't simply to chase symptoms, but to identify patterns and create a plan that supports the underlying systems contributing to how you feel.
Connecting Naturopathic Medicine, Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine
Dr. Victoria combines naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, and Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern physiology and evidence-informed care.
This integrative approach allows her to draw from different therapeutic perspectives while keeping the individual at the centre of care.
She believes that understanding the connections within your body can change the way you participate in your own health.
As she puts it:
“Your body is ancient. Your environment is not.”
Modern life places demands on our bodies that they weren't necessarily designed for. Chronic stress, disrupted sleep, changes in nutrition, sedentary lifestyles, and the pace of everyday life can all influence how our physiology functions.
Understanding those connections can open up new possibilities for care.
Doctor as Teacher
Dr. Victoria takes the naturopathic principle of Doctor as Teacher seriously.
She believes that understanding why your body may be responding the way it is can change how you participate in your health.
Her role isn't simply to develop a treatment plan. It's also to help you understand the patterns, recognize the information your body is giving you, and identify where meaningful change may be possible.
Because when you understand your body, you can become an active participant in your care.
Education & Experience
Dr. Victoria earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Manitoba and her Doctor of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2016.
She has been in private practice since 2017 and brings years of clinical experience to her work with patients.
Her approach is thoughtful, comprehensive, and grounded in the belief that there is always more to understand when it comes to the relationship between symptoms, physiology, environment, and lived experience.
What Is Your Body Trying to Tell You?
Sometimes the question isn't simply:
“What's wrong with my hormones?”
It may be:
“What has my body been trying to tell me?”
Dr. Victoria is passionate about helping women slow down, understand those messages, and see the bigger picture.
We are so pleased to welcome Dr. Victoria Baldwin, ND to True Health Integrative Clinic and look forward to the care and perspective she brings to our community.
